Full Press Apparel Veterans Day 5 K Run

Veteran Events in Tallahassee is pleased to announce this years inaugural 5 K Run will be sponsored by Full Press Apparel. A local Tallahassee company that specializes in tailored sports and promotional wear.

Full Press Apparel has been an active supporter of VET Inc since our beginning in Feb of 2010 and we welcome them as a full event sponsor in 2011.

The 5 Kilometer run will start at the Vietnam Memorial, winding out through the Myers Park area and ending at the Chain of Parks in downtown Tallahassee will be the opening event for the Inaugural Vet Fest.

It is part of the overall plan of Veteran Events in Tallahassee Inc that Vet Fest will become the annual celebration to be held in conjunction with the Leon County/ Tallahassee Veterans Day Parade.

The run is being organized with the help of Gulf Winds Track Club of Tallahassee and will be the opening event with raceday registration opening at 7:00 AM.

Vet Fest will be an all day Festival with food and craft vendors along with a children’s playground area and static Military Displays
