Originally scheduled to be drawn at the end of the Salute to Veterans Poke Run, the drawing will now be held on 11 November 2020 at 11:00 AM. On behalf of Veteran Events in Tallahassee, Inc., we would like to thank everyone for being patient for the official word on whether the Veterans Day Parade will take place this year. On Friday, September 25,2020, TPD made the official announcement permits for the Veterans Day Parade and for VETFest will not be issued resulting in both events being cancelled this year. We understand everyone’s disappointmentas we are disappointed ourselves, but we are really excited about next year’s Veterans Day Parade. Due to the economic strain of Covid-19, on our Nation and Local community, the decision was made to cancel this year’s Poker Run. V.E.T. Inc. has a reputation of paying the highest payout and giving away some of the best door prizes of any Poker Run in the area. We would not be able to keep that standard this year and elected to cancel the event instead of offering a subpar event.
