Theme

This year theme is “Thank You For Your Service”. This theme was chosen to recognize the contributions of those Veterans who are not eligible to be considered Combat Veterans.

Not every service member is called upon to defend this great nation and or her allies in wartime. All service members sign that dotted line

Staging Times

Non vehicle entries regardless of block assignment: By 10:00 AM

A-B (special entries, lead band, grand marshal)
8:30 AM to 9:00 AM

C-D (government, law enforcement, public safety, reserved)
8:30 AM 9:15 AM

E-F (veterans, veteran service organizations, military, military related, sponsors)
8:30 AM 9:30 AM

G-H (general entries on first come first staged basis)
9:00 AM 10:00 AM

Registration Deadline
Due to the overwhelming number of entries we have, we will not accept registration after the deadline. We will make exceptions for Veterans who wish to participate. Registration ends 7 November.

Before You Begin

Please review the parade rules prior to registering. Please do not disembark your entry on East Madison Street until instructed to do so. Please follow all instructions given by the volunteers of VET Inc, the City of Tallahassee and Leon County employees.

Safety Considerations
  • Walking entries are limited to the following:

    • Bands

    • Color Guard

    • Honor Guard

    • Marching Units such as:

      • ROTC’s

      • JROTC’s

      • Military affiliated groups and organizations.

    • All participants must be a member of the organization.

  • There will be no walking along the periphery of the route. Please maintain a distance of at least two feet away from the barriers.

  • There will be no distributing of items from the parade route. NO exceptions.
    • This includes and is not limited to:
      • Throwing items
      • Handing out
    • If you wish to do so, please have someone from your organization walk along the sidewalk and or set up a booth at VETFest.
